Ferintosh Guest House, 30 Lovers Walk, Dumfries, Scotland DG1 1LX

email:

The Ferintosh Guest House welcomes guests to bring their well-behaved canine traveling companions along with them

We are the perfect location for the dog shows held at Dumfries Loreburn Hall. Dumfries & Galloway Canine Society and other kennel clubs often have dog shows here. Lornburn Hall is a quick 3 minute walk from our front door.
A complimentary biscuit and chewy strip awaits your dog in your room.
Dogs are allowed to stay in the rooms with the guests, but must NOT be left unattended in the room, unless special arrangements are made with Robertson & Emma.
Unfortunately we cannot allow dogs in the dining room, but your dog can play in our enclosed rear garden, with our dogs, while you enjoy breakfast.... or, if the weather permits, you can eat your breakfast in the rear garden with your dog... or your dog can a have a wee rest in your car while you have breakfast.

Water bowls, food bowls, and poop bags are available for your use.
We also have spare leads and umbrellas should you need to borrow them.
Our twa dugs Taffee & Riley are very friendly, love to play with other dogs, and are both neutered.
There is a great tree lined place to walk dogs right across the road from the Guest House and hundreds of great walks in the surrounding area (river walks, hill treks, you name it…)

Dumfries has several dog friendly pubs; The Globe Inn, Tam O' Shanter, Hole I' The Wa' Inn, Fleshers Arms, The Last Post, New Bazaar, Waverly Bar, The Lyver, Douglas Arms, and Coach & Horses.

Dumfries also has some pub/restaurants allow you to have your dog with you on the patio whilst you eat; The Globe Inn (lunch only), The Swan, Station Hotel, …and at the Coach & Horses you can eat your lunch IN the pub with your dog (lunch only).
We have never had a dog steal towels, cutlery, or pictures off the walls. We have never had to evict a dog in the middle of the night for being drunk and disorderly. No dog has ever smoked in our rooms and no dog has ever run out on their bill... if your dog will vouch for you, you're welcome to stay here too.
